Born a Marid, Jala grew up among royalty. Against all expectations, she is less than talented when it comes to magic and
whisfullfillment. If you're looking for a good dose of sarcasm, Jala is your... well... Genie. One day she picked a fight with an Ifrit
which led to a gigantic fire in the palace and Jala's exclusion from it. She moved in with a bunch of mermaids until she got picked
up by a pirate ship. The pirates captured her in a wine bottle and sold her (after expericence her lack of talent first hand) to the
same antiquary who had bought Amber's lamp.
